As Merry's Mom, I get the joy of watching the little bit evaluate product after product. Clothing, dog beds, jewelery - we've seen it all in the last year or two. But there are times - I'm princess enough myself to admit it - when I wish I'd named the company Pampered Angie instead, so that I could review some lovely products myself!
Of course, you can imagine the diva's reaction to this idea. ;)
But she was kind enough just this once to allow me to review a dog-related product just for Moms - this stunning handbag from SoHoPets.
Each of these dog handbags feature a reproduction of the stunning paintings created by artist Gabriele Kolb. Knowing my fondness for those adorably fluffy squat-nosed creatures, they kindly sent along a black canvas handbag featuring the "Aurora the Pug" painting.
Because one pug just isn't enough. Ask any pug owner!
The bags are not just adorable, they're roomy too. They're 12" high and 8" x 5" at the base. They have a coordinated fabric interior - this bag's interior is a striking black and white stripe - that's covered with clear vinyl to keep everything looking shiny and new. Each bag features an inside pocket and a magnetic snap closure.
There are many different bags and totes available - dozens of different combinations of fabric and art with over 15 different breeds represented. Even the handles come with variety - this bag came with snazzy bamboo handles, but there are also fabric handles, and long straps on the totes.
To top it all off, if you don't see the breed you like, you can commission a custom handbag. The artist will create a custom portrait of your pet based on photographs you provide, and then professionally reproduce this portrait (including hand-touching to ensure the best possible look) onto the handbag of your choice.
I am very grateful to little Merry for allowing me to review this bag. It's too cute, and carries a lot of stuff for both woman and beast. Four paws and two big thumbs up for the SoHoPets bags!
