This month's reviews are brought to you by Paddington and Corduroy. Paddington is a feisty Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) who keeps her humans safe from any pending squirrel attacks by doing regular patrols of her yard and Corduroy is a laid back Malshi (Maltese/Shih Tzu) who is a fluffy ball of kisses and whose favorite activities include cuddles and napping...oh and eating. Both Paddington and Corduroy are thrilled to be reviewing products for the next two months and are very excited to bring you the latest and greatest pet products. They would both like to thank Merry for bestowing them with this honor.
Spring is in the air and I, and the dogs, couldn't be happier. Spring means flowers, leisurely strolls in the park and picnics. It is such a wonderful time of year and I always look forward to wearing my springtime dresses and skirts that have been tucked away in the closet all winter.
Corduroy is no different. She absolutely loves getting dressed up and preens around like a little model when she has her outfits on. This year we were hoping for a new spring look and IS Pet Designer Petwear stepped in to fill that role with their perfectly pink plaid Pet Angel Dress! Corduroy loves it and even let me put her hair up with a matching bow (review on that next month!).
dress is just exquisite. It is one piece that pulls over the dog's head so you don't need to worry about zippers, velcro or snaps getting caught. The dress size is adjusted by the straps and there is an elastic on the underside to keep the dress snugly on the dog so it doesn't ride up. It's easy on and easy off, which in my opinion, is fantastic. The pink plaid pattern reminds me of a summer picnic and it is perfect for any lady. There is a heart with an arrow and the words "Pet Angel" written with tiny little rhinestones that glisten when the sun hits them and adds that extra bit of always necessary bling. The underside of the skirt has a layer of light pink tulle that is gathered at the waist. I am a very big fan of tulle - I even had something similar on my wedding dress when I got married last summer! The tulle causes the skirt of the dress to have that lovely poof to it and allows the dress to hold its shape very well. There is an additional ruffle of tulle sewn around the bottom of the skirt that ups the cuteness even more. The dress is finished off with two of the most adorable puppy bows known to man. Such beautiful details, and I love details. The bodice of the dress is 100% cotton so it will be breathable on those hot summer days.
