PupMatch: Ladybugs

Fashion can be a cruel taskmaster: it doesn't matter how great a single individual piece is, it's all about bringing it together. If your outfit doesn't work together to create the look you want, well, you've just wasted your money, honey. With this idea in mind, we're launching a new regular feature on Puppytrends called PupMatch.

PupMatch is all about learning how to combine different doggie looks to create a single seamless fashion statement. We start with a single inspiration piece and then match up the best accessories to create a look that makes the whole thing even more fabulous.

This week's inspiration piece:

Ladybug Harness Dress
We love harness dresses. We don't always use 'em as harnesses but love having the option. And the big red satin bow just call to us. How sweet is that?

Doggie rain boots

These pretty and stylish rain boots are anatomically correct and available in 10 sizes, great for obtaining proper fit and comfort. The water resistant upper is made of water resistant PU material and the thermoplastic rubber outsole is manufactured to the same standard as human rain boots. One of our favorite features: velcro straps so that it's easy-peasy to get these boots on and off of even the most on-the-move dogs. Ha! We love the name of this designer: Dog in the Closet, purveyors of "clothing for homo sapiens trapped by a bark and a dog's body." So it's no surprise we're more than a little bit partial to these rockin' Denim Halter Vests for dogs. These mini versions of people-style denim vests come in a variety of styles including "USA" (especially perfect if you and your pup are planning on taking in a Springsteen concert this summer), "Boa" (for the more Zsa Zsa Gabor-minded doggies in our midst) and "Chain Collar" (perfect for the all around hard-rocking pooch).
