MP3 player doggie toy
Let's face it, nowadays we're more likely to leave the house forgetting our pants before our iPods or iPhones. Your disco doggie can share in the portable tunes obsession and really get her groove (or her chew) on with this adorable pink plushy iPaw toy. The iPaw is another to-die-for, celebrity-salivating toy by the gals at Haute Diggity Dog, whose popular parody dog wares make frequent appearances in the gift bags for the Oscars and Emmys. We love witty flourishes like the tempting dangly headphones and squeaker on this one. It's a must-have for the doggie toy box and sure to keep tails wagging for hours at a time.

Water bottle cruncher dog toys
One of the many things we love about one of our pups is the fact that an empty water bottle can keep her completely entertained for the better part of an afternoon. But we worry that tenacity could result in torn-up plastic everywhere, possibly even inside doggy! We know better than to trust the contents of plastic bottles for safety but we also don't want to take away this favorite past time. Water Bottle Cruncher Dog Toys to the rescue! These toys combine a heavy-duty canvas, triple enforced Velcro enclosure, and a water bottle, and are sure to provide hours of colorful and safe fun. Each set includes a snake toy and a caterpillar toy, all the better for munching and crunching. And once the bottle inside is worn out, any 20 oz bottle will fit in its place. Remember to recycle!

Christmas tree dog toy
Does a dog know it's Christmas? She does if you give her the Stuffed Christmas Tree Interactive Toy from The Haute Hound. The back and the bottom of the festive green "tree" can be stuffed with the squeaky snowman, candy cane, Santa cap and "Leo." K-9s then get down to playing, working the squeaky stuffers out of the tree. We have to be realistic; each one of us has a dog that in the past year, did something naughty. But they did plenty of nice things too, so on balance deserve great presents. Happy barking holidays to everybody!
iPup dog plush toy
Time magazine named the iPhone the Invention of the Year in 2007. So doubtless, for 2008, the Invention of the Year will be the iPup from FouFou Dog Toys. Like the Apple iPhone, the iPup toy has a minimal hardware interface and it lacks a physical keyboard. Yet the durable iPup is ultra plush. It has a loud squeaker hidden inside, so now your dog can annoy people with a ringing phone device in public just as humans do! The compact size makes the toy especially great for medium and small K-9s. We're calling everybody we know, on our iPhone, to tell them about the lovely, tightly-embroidered details in FouFou Dog Toys' iPup.
Plush dog toys
A girls got to earn a living, but that doesn't mean much to our snuggly pooch pals. You've seen it--the big moony eyes you get each morning as you head out the door. A small token of our undying affection goes a long way to smooth the exit. Our latest indulgence is a Canine Genius plush toy. We've bought all three Deep Thought Bubbles and dole them out with a swift kiss on the nose. These plush toys with sweet sentiments attached say things like "I Love You" and "You're My Best Friend." And they squeak too! Keeping dog distracted and mom smiling and ready to face her dogless day.
Halloween-themed dog toys
It's the back-to-ghoul season and Wiggle and Waggle is here with Halloween Spikey Squeakers to help your dogs get into the spirit of things. We are all about the treats, not the tricks, but we can't help being charmed by the black cat, the orange pumpkin, the green Frankenstein and the purple ghost. If we were a Golden or a beagle, we would definitely want to get into some chomp and squeak action with these spooky soft latex toys. If you can't decide "witch" one to order, order all four! And that Frankenstein! Get a load of 'im. The blue eye, the stitches, the jet black hair against the monster green skin . . . and the bone shape! We are in love! Head over paws in love.
Interactive dog toy
Chasing squirrels and bunnies gets a tad monotonous. We think our dogs would appreciate using their noggins as a change of pace. Since they can't very well join our passion for suduko, we'll give them a chance to tackle this interactive dog toy. The Dog Brick is a puppy puzzle from Nina Ottosson Games. Here's how it works: You hide your treats in recesses located under a series of interlocking sliding blocks. Then it's up to your dog to locate the treats by sliding the blocks with either his paw or his nose. Clever pups are rewarded with a tasty treat and the pride of mastering a new challenge. Now if they could just help us with the Sunday crossword in the Times!
Squirt ball toy for dogs
It's summer, and a dog has to do what a dog has to do, namely, romp, play, romp play and romp. Here to get the festivities going is the Squirt Ball from Dogtoys.com, a canine's favorite website. Fill the Squirt Ball with refreshing cold water, and your dog can enjoy a sense of replenishment during his romps. The company is having a buy one, get one free special, so we're thinking one for doggy, and one for us, with the one for us filled with a frozen strawberry mango daiquiri, a drink that originated in Cuba. Not that we're suggesting that during his romps, your dog lift a leg to Fidel. Ay yi yi, our humor is going to the perros. Get in the squirt with the Squirt Ball today!
Snoop Dogg dog toys
As a child, Snoop Dogg performed at the Golgotha Trinity Baptist Church but then decided to go to the school of hard knocks, aka The Wayside County Jail. Jail bird, bird dog, what's the difference? Now marketing these cool dog toys, he's doing something right, n'est-ce pas? The doggy chew toy handcuffs might be an odd choice, but the boom box that when squeezed plays Snoop barking up a storm is right on target, as is the toy microphone that allows your schnauzer, Afghan, Papillon or other breed to morph into a doggie rapper. Knock three times on the ceiling if you have to go out for your walk. Oh wait; that isn't rap. Guess it's time to look at Snoop Dogg's rap sheet again, to figure the whole mess out. Woof!
Water ramp for pets
We all love to frolic in the water on a sweltering summer day. But pools and other watering holes can pose serious danger to our pets. Slippery and steep ledges can trap pups in deep water creating a lethal situation. Solution? The Super Skamper-Ramp. Now we don't have to worry about our dog falling into the pool and getting trapped with help nowhere to be found. This ramp works without human aid. All we had to do was to secure the ramp to our pool. Out dog can use the holes to get proper footing and free himself from the water. With this hazard taken care of, our vacation spot is much more relaxing.
Intelligence Quotient Test for Chiens
Here's something a dog can really scratch her head over; The Pooch IQ Test from PoochIQ.com. If your doggy scores really high on the test, you should feel free to discuss Einstein's theory of general relativity with her afterwards. Meanwhile, the test makers advise that your dog's success in the exam is contingent on her being motivated by treats. Duh! The fifteen exercises in the Pooch IQ Test kit test problem solving skills, instinctive intelligence, obedience intelligence, and reasoning skills among other aspects of your K-9's smarts. The Pooch IQ Test comes from Beverly Hills; any Pampered Puppy who wants to get close to that posh municipality can't be all dumb.
