Dog nail file device
No dog wants to go to a gala opening with her nails overgrown. The Peticure tool is here, so no dog will have to. Brings spa-level care into your doghouse. This is a gentle filing device, no sudden cuts. The filing drum with filing band design eliminates projectile nail debris, abrasions and accidental hair winding. Nothing turns a sweet doggy into a real bitch faster than accidental hair winding, after all. We love the company's instructions about how to position your K-9 for a Peticure nail filing session: "If your dog protests or struggles DO NOT LET HIM OR HER GO and win the exchange." Our dogs are simply too refined and well-mannered to ever even think about trying to win an exchange with us, but we can see where it might happen with other people's pooches. Peticure is also sold in a petite size, perfect for papillons.
Blueberry facial for dogs

Ginger reporting. You know, I'm the spoiled big city Sheltie. I love to vacation in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec in spring, sniffing the blossoms on the blueberry bushes. My human has even given me gourmet blueberry treats; you can believe I've licked crumbs from those off my whiskers, daintily of course. Not that I could really explain what a polyphenol antioxidant is, but I understand they protect health. Human experiments have proven that true, in fact. I don't really approve of experiments on humans, but sometimes if they can help dogkind, what is a barker to do? Wet Nose Willie's is purveying a blueberry facial for four-legged girls and I'm sure, boys. It's PH balanced, cleansing, brightening and aromatherapeutic. When they treat me to it I can close my eyes and imagine myself back in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. C'est si bon!
Laundry soap for dogs
Dogs often find a special little nest in the home to make their own. Perhaps its a slip covered chair, dog bed or cozy blanket. Whatever the item, months and years of love often leave it a bit--shall we say pungent. That's were The Laundress comes in. A female duo came up with this brand of luxury cleaning products for fine linens, hand washable silks and other precious clothing. Being dog-lovers, the ladies added a detergent just for pups called Le Chien and Le Chat Detergent. The cedar scent won't frighten away you pup, just freshen up his well-worn napping station and make you home a odor-free.
Facial cleanser for dogs

Kissy Face Pet Facial from Furfection Naturals is loaded up with coconut, vanilla and blueberry scents and gently cleanses what the company refers to as "Dirty little fur faces." We of course know that your dog never ever has a dirty little fur face but thought you might like to know what's available for the poor little doggies that do have dirty little fur faces. Furfection also talks about "embarrassing beard stains," but who ever has those? The product is a gentle, tear-free liquid cleanser with moisturizers to condition and protect a doggy's skin. Sold in a pump dispenser, the Kissy Face Pet Facial comes with a special soft massage brush. An 8 oz bottle is good for 100 washings; a 2 oz. travel size is also available. Who knows? Maybe if Snoopy would clean up his dirty little fur face with this, Lucy would kiss him without complaining about supposed "dog germs."
Yuppy Puppy dog soap
A shiny and healthy coat is a thing of beauty. We are always on the hunt for spa-like treatments for our fur kids. We're happy to have added the new Yuppy Puppy bar to our bath time ritual. We love it for it's sweet smell and the lustrous fur that our pups get from their baths. To achieve such gorgeous coats, the Yuppy Puppy team packs in oodles of natural oils: coconut, palm, olive and aloe vera to name a few. Sounds good enough to eat doesn't it! And animal rights friends love that this product is tested on humans--isn't that a great role reversal.
Kiehl's introduces dog grooming products
We've been keeping our own tresses tamed with Kiehl's products since we were teens. The small New York City apothecary that launched these world-famous personal care products has finally gotten around to catering to the grooming needs of our furry friends. The For Your Dog line includes: Cuddly-Coat Grooming Shampoo, Cuddly-Coat Conditioning Rinse and Spray-N-Play Cleaning Spritz. We can't wait to try the no-rinse cleaning spritz which promises to remove stains and deodorize our pups. Like all Kiehl's products, consumers can rest assured that there is zero tolerance at Kiehl's when it comes to testing on animals.
Dog fur colorings

Pastels for Pets let you give your canine companion a little extra pizzazz for struttin' her stuff around the neighborhood and on the doggie fashion catwalk. Available tints that work best for lighter colored dogs are green, turquoise, violet, fuchsia and pink. Then there are crystalline stencil colors that show up on all fur shades: pearl pink, pearl blue, gold, silver and sparkles. Two stencils are currently to be had, with more promised for the future; I (heart) U and a heart symbol. Product is non-toxic and may be used on your own locks to match your doggy's fashionable look.
Designer doggie fragrance

Sexy Beast is calling their signature fragrance "A small spritz for dog; a giant spritz for dogkind." The low-alcohol eau de parfum is blended with bergamot, vanilla-infused musk, natural patchouli, mandarin and nutmeg oils. Don't tell Anna Wintour we said this, but It's enough to make a human wish she had fur. The mere sight of the Karim Rashid-designed bottle will let your dog's friends know she's a lady of quality; it sports an integrated seamless pump and a beautiful sensual soft touch finish.
Holiday terry towel for dogs

Oooo la la! Que c'est bon, c'est bon! The Paw-risian Bistro is barking up the right tree with its holiday towel for dogs. The plush terry towel has a chic hood for covering your chien's head. It's printed with an applique reading "Santa Paws." It's decked out with a faux fur trim. While you're checking out the site, have a look at The Paw-risian Bistro's list of French pet names. Among our favorites are Boumboum, Ciboulette, Picollo Pif and Tournesol, that last the word for Sunflower.
Tattoos for dogs
![200610[1].04.jpg](http://www.pamperedpuppy.com/puppytrends/images/200610[1].04.jpg)
Every once in a very, very great while, and especially if you're a French breed, you might sense "nostalgie de la boue," a nostalgia for the mud. It's in that spirit that we call your attention to the pet tattoos offered by Pet Science Labs. Petattoos, as they are called, are flexible molds onto which you spread paint before applying it to a dog's fur. You might choose a logo like "Princess," or if your nostalgia for the mud is particularly keen you might go with some of the punk dog choices, "Butt Sniffer," "Poop Machine," "Hey Human, Pick up my S(*t," or the ever-popular "Cats Suck." Just don't blame us if to get revenge, your dog slaps a petattoo on your forehead while you're sleeping.
Doggie elixirs from Happy Tails

Happy Tails' Canine Spa Line now includes three all natural herbal elixirs to promote doggie wellness within and without. "Perky Pup" will give Fluffy energy with such ingredients as violet leaves, red clover and echinacea. "Healthy Skin Shiny Coat" adds lustre to your doggy's fur with various herbal and floral extracts. "Sleepy Time Tonic" promotes sound sleep with valerian and other herbals. All products are "better than human quality;" it's enough to make us wish we were dogs!
Fruits and Passion for dogs

The Fruits and Passion company are offering sweet indulgences with their HotDog line of pooch care products. Five fine items include an Eau de Toilette with notes of fruit, fig leaves and cedar, a puppy and sensitive skin shampoo with lotus, bamboo and camomile extracts, a purifying deodorizer mist, a fresh and lustrous spray-on coat conditioner and an adult dog shampoo with concentrated aloe vera essence and ivy leaf extract. We have, after all, always known our dog was smart enough to be in the ivy league.
Mud baths for dogs
Just when you thought mud baths were only for the incredibly pampered two-footed people in your life: a company based out of Tokyo has an entire spa-quality line for dogs (and the spas to go with them, natch). PetEsthe has spa treatments based on Amino Acids and Aromatic Bath Salts, but the real piece de resistance is their Special Program series. The series features a mud pack made filled with essential oils and seaweed extracts to provide "thalassotherapeutic" results. Looks messy, but then, these products are for professional pet estheticians only.
[How many pet estheticians are there, yet? We see this as a Trend to Watch for the next five years...]
The company also carries an entire line of nail colors for pets in far more shades than we've ever seen, and until recently also featured pet hair dyes on their site (these have been removed over the past few weeks - we wonder if this is because of the international pressure).
