When you think of Henri Matisse paintings, his use of brilliant color and fluid shapes oozing with boundless energy comes to mind. The Smucci Matisse Pet Bed captures this spirit flawlessly. A masterpiece in its own right, this brightly-hued bed's hand-cut, curved-wood walls are literally molded and sanded to obtain its pristine-smooth finish, and then glazed to seal and protect. A thin strip of black vinyl, industrial-strength auto trim is applied to the top edge of the curved walls for added cool-factor and durability. The bed comes with a jazzy, black-and-white "Zzzzz" cushion which is hand-sewn and filled with down-alternative material for an ultra-comfy feel. The cushion is machine-washable and may be dried and fluffed on low heat. The Matisse Pet Bed and "Zzzzz" cushion are available in three sizes--Grand (24" diameter x 15" high), Demi (18" diameter x 12" high), and Petite (14" diameter x 10" high).
