At the same time, you should know that most of the products offered in pet stores can only mask the odor, but not cure its cause. If you manage to regularly brush and clean your dog´s teeth, there are fewer chances that he will have bad breath, and that bacteria will accumulate on his teeth.

Usually cleaning your dog´s teeth is okay, but more serious problems should be taken care of by a veterinarian. From your veterinarian you can learn how to properly brush your pet´s teeth and how to do it on a regular basis. Do not use toothpaste intended for humans. They may contain baking soda or pile that pets can swallow and harm their health.
