Save Me Saturday: Help Us Save Copper – Australian Cattle Dog

Petfinder is an organization specialized in taking care about animals that are waiting to be adopted. Here you can find many different kinds of animals such as dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, horses, etc.

This week, we will try to find a home for a lovely Australian cattle dog called Copper. Copper is a mix between a shepherd and Australian cattle dog and is available for adoption in Pittsburg, KS. He is a medium male dog, and its fur is mainly black with addition of white and brown on the front.

Copper is neutered, and up to date with his routine shots. He has short hair, so taking care about his hygiene will not be a problem at all.

Copper can be adopted at any day from Monday to Sunday and adoption fee is $55.

Here are some reasons why you should consider adopting Copper. First of all, Australian cattle dogs are working dogs. This dog breed is widely used on farms in the U.S., Australia and Canada. These dogs are very intelligent, courageous, trustworthy and obedient. Australian cattle dogs have a devotion to work. Because of their calm temperament, and the fact that they are attached to their owners while at the same time suspicious towards strangers, makes this dog breed ideal to guard farms.

The coat is smooth, and the colors are black, with brown or white. The height of male breed Australian cattle dog is between 46 and 51 cm. Females measure from 46-48 cm.
