It's not often I manage to figure out how to play tug-of-war and hold a camera at the same time (my camera isn't exactly light - and it's worse when I have my 17-40 lens on it) but I managed over the weekend... just so I could show you all how cute and fierce the princess is while playing. Isn't she cute? You should hear the little growls she makes when playing tug. Oh so fierce!

One unexpected thing from her trip to the vet on Friday is that they shaved her entire chest to do the ultrasound - we didn't discover it until later Friday evening after we got her home. (Good thing I got the photos of her chest on Friday, right? laughs - it won't look like that again for a while) Poor little pug! She looks so odd without belly hair, and gets chilly so easily. We've been keeping her in hoodies all weekend to help her stay warm. :)

This seems a good time to admit...all these shots of her with her most favorite toy, I SO went out and bought my pugger one, thinking she would love the thing just as much as sweet Merry....instead, it sits in a corner :( I guess I will live vicariously through you!

Hi Merry! Yer still cute, even without your chest hair!! I also went out and bought one of Merry's favorite toys for my son's pug ... he just looked at it, sniffed and walked away! I was so disappointed. Can we borrow Merry???

I can just hear her growling! :)

Ooooh, scary! I love the growly noises. We also sought and bought the infamous red ball and both of my pugs were not as enamoured as we had hoped. But, our boxer friend next door has adopted it as his favorite toy! :) Merry is truly one of a kind!

our pug didn't like this kind of ball either. he'd much rather eat the eyes off of some stuffed toy.
good luck with the future tests Merry. Hope all goes well!!

Hi... I really love this site and your pug! I also have a pug and I really wanted to ask you something. What do you do when people take pictures from your site and use them on ads or as if they belong to them? Someone did just that with me. They copied a picture of my pug (from my petsite) and now they are using it to sell pugs. It´s disgusting. Do you have any advice?
Please answer. I really need help.
Lots of love for Merry from Meilin

Merry is one of a kind - my young pug played with his blue ball (just like Merry's red ball) for only 10 minutes when he got it (actually he was afraid of it at first - so cute), now he doesn't even chase after it. I had to check up on Merry, my second favourite pug (no offence Merry, but mums and dads always favour their own pug :), to see how she's doing. I just love the photos. Cute how she's got one white whisker - I guess pugs get white whiskers too like people when they age. But still so cute at any age.

Hey Precious Merry! You sure are going through some scary medical stuff. But you have so much heart, I just know you will be a-ok. I so love to see you play, heck I love to see you do anything. Lol. I am praying for you and your family. Blessings and Peace.

Thank you for your lovely pictures. I like to visit the site when I've had a tough day. My sister is a deprived pug addict in a NYC apartment, and she loves them too.
