lovely fall colors
// 2008.11.18Oh, I love the colors of fall.
To update you all on Merry's upcoming surgery: it's scheduled for next Friday (the 28th). It will be performed by her lovely and very trusted vet, and she'll be able to come home to us that night after spending the night before the surgery at the hospital.
Keep your paws crossed for us. My brain knows she'll be fine; it's just my pug-mommy heart that's having a tougher time of things.

This is such a beautiful shot of the lovely Miss Merry. Those leaves provide a perfect frame!
All paws are crossed Angie; you'll do FINE. :)

Beautiful fall leaves. I can almost smell them and feel the crunch underfoot. That is one thing I miss about Ontario although I am a West Coast girl now. We have 20 paws in our house, four hands, and numerous claws, beaks and fins. All are crossed

Blondes always look so lovely in a red coat! She looks simply divine.
We're all praying for The Princess. She will be in good hands with her devoted vet... and then back home to her loving mommy and daddy.

Madden and Peggy add their prayers to mine. Peggy just went through leg surgery and while she will tell Merry that recovery is no fun, after just a few weeks she is up and running as usual. We recently lost a close friend and dedicated Vet surgeon to a car accident. We will send our prayers to Dr. Rob to take special care of Merry.

Sending many pugs and kisses to Ms Merry and her momma. She'll breeze through recovery with all of the extra treats and snuggles!

Angie - you both are in our prayers the next couple of weeks. Our pug Ozzie has been inflicted with multiple mast cell tumors and we had one removed on his foot - along with two toes. It's been an up hill battle, with many mixed opinions from vets. Some say let the rest of the bumps be, some say take them out and do chemo. We're still up in the air as what to do, but glad we took the one from his foot. Hang in there and be sure to ask for pain meds if you feel Merry needs them. Check out my blog - chronicles our struggles with Ozzie and his tummor this past summer:
