All this wonderful springtime weather, combined with a 3-day weekend this weekend (in Canada, it's Victoria Day - roughly analagous to the US Memorial Day weekend) and finally being over the silly cold/flu/plague I'd had last week and part of this week, has put me in a super mood.

So, we're going to have a giveaway! Yippee!

I'd like to know what other photo blogs you all read other than, of course, this one. :) I read a ton of photo blogs, especially dog-related ones, every single day - and I'm always looking for more ideas. So tell me: what photo blogs do you like?

To enter the random giveaway, just share your fave photo blog by leaving a comment. (It's OK if we get duplicate blogs mentioned, but let's try and make as wide a list as possible!) One entry per person, please; we'll accept entries until 9:00 AM Tuesday morning. Winner will be selected randomly - I'll be using Random.org's Integer Generator (thanks to Ree for the tip) to choose the winning entry, and I'll post the winner on Tuesday's Merrylog.

I'm not sure if you've ever ready Confessions of a Pioneer Woman. It's not 100% photo based, but most of her posts include photos, and she does have a sub photography section on her site.

Well you asked for it. The list is very long, but here are some of my favourites.

Like I said, these are just a fraction of those I check daily, but these ones really stand out to me. I'm interested to see other peoples suggestions.

I have two that are among my favourites. Both do portrait and wedding photography and each have beautiful styles that inspire me to one day take photos like them.

I am also a big fan of blogs, especially photo blogs.

The first one that pops into my mind is the the Vegan Lunchbox Blog. http://veganlunchbox.blogspot.com It won a few awards as being one of the best blogs out there, best of Veggie Blogs, Kid's Blog, etc. It is an almost daily update of what a woman prepares for her kid (nicknamed Schmoo), in this cute little lunchbox. The kicker is that all of the meals are vegan (no meat, no dairy/cheese, no egg, etc!). Being vegan, this helped me get through college and still gets me a good lunch during the work day. Recipes include dinosaur shaped "fish" sticks (not fish!), vegetarian sushi, mac and "cheese", etc. They are given ratings by her son, too!

love this site, it's a little old lady who has like 14-15 dogs, all pugs and bostons, also has birds, she cares for her friend who lives with her. she rescues everything, and this blog is the story of her life. it is great.

These are not blogs in the traditional sense but I must check them every day to get my fill of dogs and the cuteness factor (after Merry of course). I am a Pug devotee but love all things cute and Cute Overload is the best for fulfilling that!

Aside from Merrylog, my other favorite is PugBlog.It is a running story about three pugs,Harold, Benjamin and Luna, who live in Florida.I really like to read about their daily adventures and to see the pictures of them, which are not portrait quality like Angie's, but more like snapshots, which really suit the storyline.
