sleepy girl
// 2007.07.25As Merry's eyesight gets worse, it gets harder to get good shots of her smiling or even facing the camera (since she can't always see it or focus on it - often depends on the light). This is making shoots much more of a challenge - particularly for the Merryvaluations. No word yet on her surgery - the vet tells me it will be at least a few more weeks before they get the part replaced that they need.

Now I just wanna hug you to pieces. Pug hugs to you both

Shots that aren't perfect are actually the best. For example, this picture of Merry is adorable. I love it! Don't worry though. She will be fine!

My Violet was partially blind from the abysmal care she received from a backyard breeder. Her hearing and sense of smell was more acute and she ran around like any other doggie. I stayed more conscious of her hearing abilities and used them to advantage by relying on modulation, tone, and silly sounds to communicate the love and devotion I had for her. I am praying for you Merry and mom.

Merry is such a beautiful pug. My son and DIL had surgery on their pug's eyes. I'm not sure what the surgery was for but they were sooo worried. "Rawley the Pug" is doing fine post surgery... a little too "pudgy" but doing fine. Love you, Merry!! You'll be fine also!! xoxoxoxox
