// 2007.01.25Oh, the princess is just such a layabout in the mornings. She wasn't as a puppy - she was dragging my butt out of bed in the wee hours of dark - but once she grew up, she became the snuggling-in-bed-with-Mom-till-forever type. Typically she snuggles with me until I wake up and then is buried under covers and pillows while I get up, get a drink (I'd love to say something classy like tea or hardcore like coffee, folks, but the truth is I like my caffeine carbonated and cold!) and check my email and news reader. Then I come back to the pug and have to rub her belly, clean out her eyes and folds, and lift her from the bed to get ready for walkies. She never wants to come and always wants more tummy rubbings and sleepies. Lazy pug! :) (Jammies by VIPoochy.)

Merry is adorable! I hope my pug puppy, Suki, will be as lazy in the morning as she is one day. I have to get up at 6:30 every day just so she won't go in the crate-she's only 11 weeks old.

I have two chihuahua dogs and one day will be a pug owner too! I just love to snuggle up with my babies and see them sleeping on there back! That is the cutiest position ever! And yes really it is just another of there clever little ways to get what they want. Awww tummy rubs! I must also add your Merry is a perfect example of this breed! She is adorable!!!!!!! Awwww! =)

Ah she's waiting for her belly rubs....My little man sleeps like that and then will start snoring. Too cute!
