the wrinkles
// 2006.09.08I love the coloring on a pug (it's one of the few things I don't like about black pugs). The variations in the coloring, the wrinkles and folds... they all combine to make a unique little snowflake of a pug that's very dear.

What a great, original photo! I have black pugs myself, but I love the colors on the fawns.

I think the way light reflexs off and in the wrinkles of black pugs is similar to the beauty found in the fawn coat that you have captured so wonderfully in this pic of Merry. I love the closeup of the wrinkle. It's genius. I must steal the idea and try it on my pugs, if they would just sit still! :)

Cutest pug ever.
Actually, she's in the running for the cutest dog ever...

black pugs have a charm all their own, true, the wrinkles are not quite as visible as on a fawn, but they are adorable and precious too,

What they lack in color, black pugs make up for in spunk and personality.
