ours came broken in half - it was ok, though -made 2 pieces per dog instead of 1. I thought it may be harder for them to chew being this small, but it wasn't. The dogs loved them - chewed them up pretty good - lasted two sittings (1st half) - second half, same thing. (About an hour each sitting.)
My dogs are powerful chewers, I guess - they went to town on this thing! I plan to get the bigger size next time. They seem to love it, and I like that it's fully digestible.
