Every little girl - and grown woman, ahem - loves gift baskets. They're fun, they're pretty, and they're always filled with such great stuff. It's like getting a present within a present. And haven't we all wished from time to time that the presents would just keep on comin'?
Merry and I were thrilled to get the The Ever So Pampered Puppy! gift set from Heart of My Heart Pet Boutique. It's adorably cute - packaged in not a cheap basket, but a lovely hat box with very feminine and fun illustrations. It will make a great storage area for grooming supplies or out of season clothing!
But what's inside is the most fun for us. An entire Buddy Wash grooming set - shampoo, conditioner and leave-on conditioner/in between bath spritz. The set was lovely and gentle on Merry's skin; a delicious mixture of lavender and mint scents made the princess feel very pampered. More importantly, Buddy Wash wasn't heavy on the chemicals - it's made from natural ingredients like coconut oil, aloe vera, vitamin E, and an entire repertoire of other plant extracts.
The gift set doesn't just end there, though! Heck no. Also included in the box were a lovely pink and gingham bone-shaped towel (just large enough to rub down a princess pug thoroughly post-bath), a pink-handled grooming brush, and an adorable stuffed yellow duck toy. Merry particularly loved the towel; but then, the princess loves nothing more than to be rubbed down after a long and luxurious bath. Don't we all?
The pièce de resistance, however, was the inclusion of the perfect item to complete the entire luxury spa experience: a Relaxation Music for Dogs and Cats CD. I was really fascinated with the music on the CD, which was composed specifically for pets. The sub-low and ultra-high frequencies have been removed from the music, to provide optimum listening comfort for our more sensitive companions. The music is soothing and instrumental, guaranteed to keep your little one relaxed during bath time or even while you're away from the house. I can vouch for the fact it works - every time I put it on, the princess falls asleep on her bed. This alone is worth the price of admission! :)
This is a lovely gift set for any pampered puppy - and with the holidays coming up, might be just the ticket for that hard-to-please canine. Merry and I loved it!
