Dog Clothes - A Merryvaluation
Oh, Merry loves Hip Doggie. Lorena and Suyun, the designers and owners of Hip Doggie, always seem to come up with the most adorable and well-fitting products this puglet has ever run across.
So Merry and I were thrilled when we received our latest package from Hip Doggie. Inside, two new polos (pink and red), a "Brat" t-shirt, and an amusing "cow" pattern coat.
Merry is lucky enough to already have the polo in black and blue stripe, so we knew the polos would fit wonderfully. But we were thrilled with the colors. I have to admit I'm getting a bit obsessed with pink, and thankfully it's been showing up in more and more stores. I plan to take Merry out in the pink polo and a hot pink collar just as often as I can this summer. How cute!
The "Brat" t-shirt was also adorable, and fit very well, as you can see from the photo. Merry informed me indignantly that she is not a brat by any stretch of the imagination. But as any pug owner can tell you, that's not always true! Just don't tell her I said that.
We really loved the cow pattern coat. The collar and matching belt are made from rich black corduroy, and it's also lined with that same black corduroy, so it's very soft against Merry's skin. The construction is very thoughtful, as well. Rather than the belt being a separate piece which ends up moving around and bunching up the coat, it's sewn in place and attached to the belly band, so it stays in place and keeps the look of the coat tidy regardless of how much Merry might run and jump while taking a walk in it.
I know I do go on about this company, but honestly, I'm their biggest fan. Their clothes fit right and are always very hip; they obviously keep their eyes on what's going on in "people" stores and modify the look and feel to be appropriate for your pet. One more round of four paws up from Merry and I.
