Dog Style to Match Your Decor
From traditional to modern, Unleashed Life gives pet owners classy optionsby A. Pace

Designers want it. You want it. Really, who wants a pet bed or bowl set that doesn't complement their decor? Unleashed Life has taken this concept all the way with an impressive lineup of products any pet owner would be proud to place in their homes.
Founded on the ideals of using thoughtful design and high quality products to incorporate the lives of animal companions into their human's living environment, Unleashed Life (www.unleashedlife.com) designs stylish items for the pet at home. Their collections feature luxurious dog bowls, dining stations, treat canisters and dog beds.
While Unlesashed Life has its headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, its unique designs are available to the public through their sleek and easy-to-navigate online boutique. The company's mission statement is "Style... not reserved for people," and it's a maxim they stick by, offering not only style to spare, but a variety of styles at that. Unleashed Life offers a selection of transitional, contemporary, traditional and global style through their eight different collections.
Love modern design? Unleashed Life's Chelsea Bed features a chic zebra wood veneer and contemporary chrome legs. If your decor is more traditional, you'll love the very traditional (and - dare we say - regal) Makati Bed which has the old world charm of intricate scrollwork and a distressed Walnut finish. Ranging in price from $359 to $605, these beds fit in with a variety of interior decorating schemes already in place.

Dog bowls and elevated feeders (for our bigger and taller dogs) also run the fashion and design gamut from the ultra-modern to the rustic to the traditional. A standout in the modern category is the chic and earth-friendly Acacia Bowl. This very twenty-first century "green" bowl is made from plantation grown renewable Acacia wood. The organic qualities of the bowl are enhanced by the natural sloping shape and the fact that no two of these bowls are the same. For those seeking a more rustic (yet sophisticated!) option, the Aspen elevated feeder, made of handcrafted natural slate is a great bet. The Baroque line of bowls and feeders, authentically detailed with an acanthus leaf and rope design, is a natural match for classic home decor.
A special mention here to the whimsical Chien Silhouette style featuring silhouettes of different dogs against an organic cartouche pattern, one of our personal favorites along with the Constellation style, because we really like the bright red bowl interior (very chic). But don't just take our word for it - with sixteen styles of dog bowls, six styles of dining tables that do a great job of tastefully combining dining and water bowls, and seven styles of treat canisters, it's definitely worth a check out of your own. And because the design team at Unleashed Life thinks about dogs as much as they think about style, each of their bowls and feeders come in small, medium, and large sizes to accommodate canines of all shapes and sizes (and they range in price from $29.00 to $99.00 for budgets of different sizes, too).
In addition to the thoughtfulness that's clearly applied to each style, what's so appealing about these designs is that while each style reappears across the line for the option of a streamlined look, the woods, chromes and veneers work so well with each other that a fun and hip mix-and-match of styles is definitely an option, too. We're thinking: how nice would the brilliant red porcelain of the Kashmir dog treat canister look with the Constellation dog bowl we already have our eye on?

When it comes to trends and styles, Unleashed Life is on the scene. Ryan Hahn, Bran Director at Unleashed Life tells us, "Our staff is always looking for the latest styles by attending home shows like Maison and keeping up to date through all of the shelter magazines." All of the products at Unleashed Life are designed with the latest trends in the home decor industry in the forefront. Unleashed Life's sister company, BridgeBlue Sourcing Partners has been providing design, manufacturing and sourcing for prominent home furnishings retailers for the past six years, a relationship that helps Unleashed Life's designers stay up to the minute.
Because being socially conscious and aware is just as important as being trendy, both companies proudly support local and national non-profit organizations that work to provide shelter, care and advocacy to both animals and humans in need. Just what we like to hear.
Every good designer of items for pets knows the importance of a team of pet testers. The offices of Unleashed Life are bursting with pet testers and assistants. All Unleashed Life employees are encouraged to bring their dogs to work with them. There's even an outdoor dog run for some fresh air at break time. It's not unusual for as many nine dogs to be in the office on any given day hard at work with prototypes for new bowls and beds and as models for Unleashed Life ads and promotional materials.
We're told the testing team at Unleashed Life has yet to come across a feeding dish they don't thoroughly enjoy eating from.
