pp: Why was PETote created?
jl: PETote was started because growing up in the family's business that manufactures luggage, original equipment cases for latops and computers, and other portable carrying cases, I decided that pooches/our little loved ones deserved a functional and stylish carrier. I designed and manufactured a carrier that is comfortable, yet built for safety and durability for small animals.
pp: Are your products carried only in the US, or they available worldwide?
jl: They're available in the US, as well as Japan. PETote carriers are available in retail/boutique stores as well as through online website distributors and catalog distributors.
pp: How do you come up with the designs?
jl: The designs were created by researching designs to fit the type of carrier needed for our pets in creating a stylish and unique pet carrier.
pp: What would you say is your most popular product?
jl: I'd have to say our most popular pet carrier is the Bali.
pp: What are your plans for the future of PETote?
jl: My future plans for PETote is to one day open our own retail stores all over the world!
pp: Tell us a bit about your dogs?
jl: I have two dogs, a Beagle and Yorkshire Terrier. They are my pride and joy. They have two different personalities and they are a big part of my life. The Beagle, his name is Gorbie. He loves to greet me at the door with a shoe in his mouth every time I come home. The Yorkshire Terrier, his name is Cupid. He loves to annoy Gorbie when he is sleeping!
pp: And which PETote do your dogs prefer?
Gorbie (the Beagle) is too big to fit into any of our carriers, so his favorites are FOOD. [laughs] Cupid loves the Bali, because he can sleep in it when we travel or have fun people watching when were out.
