August Dog Photo Contest Winners

Lilybelle's Mom says: “I wanted an italian greyhound so bad, and one night after seeing two in a car next to me while driving, I came home to find that my husband has surprised me with my own little girl! Lils tends to be shy at first around new people, but as soon as they stop trying to get her attention she is all over them! She loves to sunbathe and get lots of kisses from me! She prefers soft dog food over hard, and must have her leopard print blanket when snoozing on the couch.”

Buster's Mom says: “Buster is 16 months old and a chihuahua/papillon cross (aka papihuahua/chion/chi-a-pap). Buster is full of energy, and is entertaining just to watch. He enjoys spending time at the dog park (particularly pulling on 'fluffy dogs' tails, ears and hair), and is willing to perform or learn any trick command (as long as there is a treat at the end). When he is not 'zooming' around, he is more than content to curl up on me for a nap. His favorite toy is a stuffed animal 'puppy' that he carries around with him everywhere he goes. His most entertaining trick is 'boing', where he leaps about 3 feet straight into the air. Everywhere we go, people are drawn to him...as he has a great personality...and of course, who can resist those large ears.”
