October Dog Photo Contest Winners
Over 1500 dog photos submitted this month! We have to be honest - October is one of our favorite months to judge - all the Halloween costumes, pumpkins, fallen leaves, and other signs of fall make for some beautiful dog photos. As always, only ten could win. But we also have a HUGE number of honorable mentions this month - be sure to stop by and see them.

Lily's Mom says: “This is Lily, she is our 5 year old Yorkshire Terrier. She loves to look out the window and watch everything going on in the neighborhood. She may be small, only 3 1/2 pounds, but she has a big personality on her. We love her to death.”

Brando's Mom says: “These photos are of my pug, Brando. He is 3 years old, very sweet, he LOVES stuffed animals, and is a fantastic snuggler. His favorite past times are playing on Coronado Dog Beach, tug of war with oversized teddy bears, and munching on bully sticks. Brando is a courtesy dog that visits Convalescent homes 6 times a year, he has walked in the Susan Komen 5k for Breast Cancer, and pretty much brings a smile to the face of everyone he encounters.”

Coco's Mom says: “This is Coco, our youngest fur baby at a year and a half. She was born in Texas and is now living with us in North Central Ontario. She loves to snuggle with her Mama and rough house with her older Chihuahua sisters; Lucy, Jasmine and Molly. Just like her big sisters she loves to have her daily breath saver biscuits from pedigree. Coco is only 4 lbs but this is multiplied in her mind by at least ten or twenty. She is a spunky ray of sunshine that greats her Mama with a raccoon-like yodel-howl, whether I have been out of her sight for five minutes or five days. This is a picture of her doing the howl, her bigger sister Jazzy is in the background wondering what is so important for such a greeting.”

We brought Bonnie home this fall, and immediately fell in love. She has a sweet personality with an insatiable puppy curiosity. What a joy!”

We rescued him from a kill shelter in Alabama and couldn't be happier with the decision to bring this little guy into our home!”

It took him a while to warm up to us, but he is a true sweet heart and now is loved by everyone. Scuffy loves to talk. He is a very social animal, it is important to him to know everyone in the park (humans and otherwise). If you are near, Scuffy is happy. ”
