Sophie's Mom says: “This is Sophie, she is a 1 year old chihuahua. I got her a week before christmas 2006 when her owner wasnt able to keep her. She was underweight and lacked all the skills a dog of 8 months should have. Weighing barely 2 pounds. I was told upon receiving her she had gone blind due to going into hypoglycemic shock after her spaying surgery. I spent months feeding her off a baby spoon every 3-4 hours and giving her water through a syringe because she didnt know how to eat or drink. After months of effort she can eat drink and she even runs around and plays now which is something she was never able to do before.”
